10. III. 1913

March 10, 1913.

Wilhelm reaches the goal of marriage. He has also told our mother about it. — A particular duplicity of events resulted in my noticing my former brother-in-law as I was about to board the tram carriage at the Brigittabrücke stop; fortunately an encounter was averted, which I took extra care to avoid.

*

Reply from Dr. Réti OJ 13/22, [1]; gifted only in being arrogant – therefore ungifted! Revenge will probably follow either in the Preface , which has yet to be taken care of, or in a letter to Hertzka.
