Lieber verehrter Meister! 1

Dear revered Master, 1

Your card 2 arrived just as I was going to write this one. We would be delighted if you could come Sunday morning, perhaps towards eleven o'clock, or later, at half past eleven (as it suits you). The afternoons are, at present, so occupied by new mothers and childcare that we cannot unfortunately invite you for the afternoons. 3

All good wishes from {recto} the two of us to the two of you; we hope to see you on Sunday.
Yours,
[signed:] Hans
